Inaugurated on the 15th January 1965, with 310 rooms, in 16 floors, during almost 40 years the Hotel Estoril-Sol was one of the most luxurious hotels in Portugal. A symbol of Cascais and the Estoril Coast, for decades the Hotel Estoril-Sol was the stage of fascinating histories.

Very prestigious and elegant, the Hotel Estoril-Sol brought annually to Cascais thousands of tourists. The hotel was chosen by many international personalities like, Grace Kelly, Fred Astaire, Ray Charles, Bing Crosby, John Wayne, Gilbert Bécaud, Jorge Amado, Jorge Luis Borges, Elis Regina and many other international and national personalities.

As time goes by the hotel became dated and not able to satisfy the requirements of the present days. Today exactly where Hotel Estoril-Sol was king, in the exquisite Estoril Coast, a brand new luxurious residential project has been announced, produce of the pen of the renowned Architect and Professor Gonçalo Byrne one of the icons of the Portuguese modern architecture.

More than a love declaration, the new development represents a natural revelation that life flows in an eternal movement and in that continuous and dynamic transformation process, “nothing is lost it can all be transformed”.
