Ibiza – Do Something Different on the White Isle

Ibiza is one of Europe’s top tourist destinations and is probably most famous for its nightlife. The climate and beauty of the island also make this a wonderful place to live and many people who want a holiday property, or are even considering moving abroad permanently, will look for luxury villas for sale in Ibiza. In addition to the climate, scenery and nightlife, there are many other activities that attract people to the area. Let’s take a look at some of the more unusual things you can do on this fabulous island:

Sea Horse Scuba Diving

Visit the Sea Horse Sub-Aqua Centre on the west coast of Ibiza to experience some underwater delights under the guidance of professional divers. Although the focus is on sea horses, you will see many more beautiful creatures and sights on this fascinating day out.

Benirras Beach Drumming Party

Every Sunday, as dusk falls, a drumming party takes place on the stunning Benirras Beach. As the drums and bongos are played, everyone is encouraged to dance around the fire.

El Paradis

This is a fantastic and luxurious roofless nightclub, making it an unusual experience in comparison to other clubs you may have visited on the island. In spite of the marble floors and grand décor, partying in a club with no roof gives you a real sense of a beach party.

Firework display

If you are lucky enough to be in one of the many villas in Ibiza during the month of August, then the firework display held in the Old Town is something you should definitely see. This is a spectacular sight not to be missed.

Mud Baths

Enjoy a boat trip to the neighbouring island of Es Palmador to try out a mud bath. The experience is both relaxing and strangely invigorating. The scenery is an added advantage as you can enjoy beautiful views in one of the most tranquil spots you are ever likely to visit.

Es Vedra

This is one of the most unusual natural sights you will ever see. Es Vedra is a huge natural rock that dominates the sea view from Cala D’Hort. The best ways to view this island are either by boat or during sunset.

A Theatrical Production in Dalt Vila

Take a tour of this World Heritage Site under the guidance of some tour guides with a difference. A troupe of actors will show you the sights while delivering a dramatic performance.

Twister Jets

If you prefer activities that get adrenalin rushing through your system, then have a go on the Twister Jet. This is the only boat on the island capable of 360-degree spins and wave jumping. Visit San Antonio Bay to enjoy this fun activity.

Anyone living on or visiting this amazing island will find plenty of fun, interesting and unusual activities to do while they are there. Knowing there is so much to do right on your doorstep will be reassuring for anyone looking for villas for sale in Ibiza.
